We really wanted to call Joe's family immediately, but we decided to make a trip to Swansboro the next weekend to break the news to them in person. It's fun to see people's expressions in real life. We told Joe's mom that same way as GG and she too didn't know what it was at first. We made her put on her glasses so she could read what the test said. She and Ed were both over the moon. Mark was there with us so he immediately called Mary and I shared the news with her. I was dreading telling Nicki and Jeff because our due date is right around the time of their wedding, but they are both so wonderful that they were very happy for us and understanding about me not being able to be at the wedding and the possibility of Joe not being able to attend. I won't get an official due date until I go to the doctor for my 8 week appointment, February 15th and from what I hear your due date can fluctuate each time you go to the doctor, so we'll see.
I discovered this week I cannot stand the smell of cooked broccoli. I was in a meeting Monday afternoon and someone was eating a broccoli and cheese hot pocket. I wanted to take it from him and shove it down his throat to get rid of the smell. Gross!!!
Other than the broccoli smell, I am still feeling great, just beginning to feel more and more tired each day.
