6 Months

Yup, you read that right. SIX MONTHS!!!!  Holy moly, that was fast.

I know I say that every month, but seriously she was born and I blinked and she is six months.

6 month well check stats: 
Weight: 17lbs 5 oz (71%tile)
Height:  26 in (64%tile)
Head Circumference:  34%tile

Avery's 6 month stats:
Weight: 15 lbs 9.5 oz (25-50% tile)
Height: 25 in (25% tile)
Head:  16 1/4 in (10-25 % tile)

Diapers: Size 3

Clothing:  Mostly all 9 months and some 12 months!

Sleep:  Sleep cycle is still the same. Go down around 7:30 pm, sleep until 5:30-6:00 am, eat then sleep until 8:00ish.  

Food: 6 oz -8 oz bottles! We are finally beginning to wean you off the rice added formula.  Fingers crossed things go well.  You've been totally off your Zantac for almost 2 weeks now.  

Moods:  You are all smiles and screams.  You are definitely finding your voice.  You love being held and sometimes become very moody when people put you down on the floor to play.  Lil stinker!!

Favorite Toys: We bought a NEW Sophie the giraffe and Zoe is STILL obsessed with it.  You love all toys that play music, have flashing lights or have a FACE :) 

Playtime: You really only use your Bumbo now when I feed you.  I have not gotten the high chair out because I feel like we don't have any room for it, but when you begin finger foods I will have to get it out again.  You sit up VERY well by yourself now.  I feel like you learned to sit up over night, it was pretty amazing. 

Firsts: Sitting up, bath with Avery, 1st Halloween, falling asleep in a high chair at a loud busy Mexicanb restaurant 

FIVE Months

almost 1/2 year... no way!

Weight: Nothing official- I'd guess around 15 lbs. 

Diapers: Size 2

Clothing:  Some 6, but mostly 9 month sleepers and close.  

It's funny b/c I though you wouldn't be able to wear many of Avery's clothes the 1st year b/c y'all were born in different seasons, but you have a little more meat on your bones, so it's working out great!!!

Sleep:  Putting you down even earlier.  7:30ish most nights. We discovered no matter what time you do down, 7:30, 8:30, 10 whatever, you will still awake around 5 or 6 to eat, SO 7:30 it is my dear.  

Food: 6 oz -8 oz bottles! You've tried lots of veggies and pears.  You love peas the most!!  I really hope to make you some baby food sometime soon, but even getting the laundry done is a challenge, so we will see :) You like frozen banana in those mess bag things too!!

Moods:  Still a very happy little lady.  You still think your big sister is best thing EVER.  You've noticed the dog, Zoe.  I've caught your eyes following her around.  My favorite thing you do right now is touch my face. You love touching my mouth and nose.  You think it's funny to put your fingers in my mouth.  Speaking of which, you love your fingers or anything for that matter in YOUR mouth.  

Favorite Toys: Sophie the giraffe (until an unfortunate diaper changing incident where I just didn't think enough sanitizing would be enough), rattles, and your LOVIES of course.

Playtime: Still love your Bumbo seat and jumper.  You feet can fully touch the ground now and you are a little jumping bean.   You HATE your bouncy seat now, guess it's time to pack that away.  You don't like to lay down unless your are sleeping.  You don't care much for laying under your play mat either.  You'd rather be in your Bumbo sitting in front of the mat where you can still reach the hanging toys.   

Firsts: LOTs this month. Baby food, high chair, front of shopping cart, train ride with THOMAS, baby shower for cousin Cayden, Avery's birthday party, bath with Avery, Dixie Classic Fair

Four Months

Addie Claire is FOUR months old :)

Weight: 14lb 14oz (65%tile)

Height: 24in (30%tile)

Head: 17%tile peanut head like your sister at this age

Diapers: Size 2

Clothing:  Wearing some 3-6month sleepers, but mostly 6 and 9 months. 

Sleep:  Going to bed earlier now :) We lay you down around 8 or 8:30 and usually within 10 min your are asleep.  Sometimes with your paci and sometimes without.  You sleep until 5:30ish every morning. Wakes and eats and goes back to sleep for another hour or two. Still napping in the swing, you've given up your bouncy seat b/c you don' like laying down unless you are sleeping.  

Food: 6 oz bottles- some mornings you've taken 8 ounces! RICE CEREAL and OATMEAL CEREAL.  You've been getting rice in your bottle for some time now due to acid reflux, but now you've had some in a bow with a spoon!!!  

Moods:  HAPPY, happy, happy!!!  You LOVE your mommy, daddy and sister Avery.  You crack up when any of us smile or talk to you. Your laugh is so funny b/c it's more like a cackle and it actually sounds like your choking, but you're not!

Favorite Toys: You love frozen teething rings.  They must feel so good on her gums. Teeth coming soon?!?

Playtime: You LOVE your jumper and your Bumboseat.  You like to sit up and be apart of the action. 

Firsts: Jump-A-Roo, rice and oatmeal cereal, HAIR BOW (not on a head band), trip to Chuck E Cheese
