Not Snow Much

We were expecting 2-4 inches, well "not snow much".  We barely got enough to cover the ground, but it was nice to have a day at home with my sweet girl.  Too bad Daddy still had to go to work.  We went out two different times during the day.  The second time (after a nap) she enjoyed herself much more.  She had a hard time staying on her two feet, but she thought it was so much fun.  I know I will be hating it come February when we have to make this day up, but until then I will enjoy the memories we made this day.

For the love of books

Avery LOVES reading looking at books and LOVES looking at pictures.  She likes pictures on the wall, in an album, on the computer, anywhere really!!  She points to people and calls their names.  I got a email from Shutterfly for a free book and decided to make Avery her own picture book with her family members.  I know there are sites out there where you can make board books (which is way more practical for a 15 month old), but you can't beat FREE.  I can't wait for her to see it :)
