Happy 1/2 Birthday!!!

18 Months--- One and one-half years!!!!  

Weight: 22lbs 15oz (54%tile)

Height: 32 in (56%tile)

Sleep: We’ve FINALLY dropped to one nap.  Unfortunately the one nap is still a late morning nap, I’d like to get her to nap in the late afternoon.  We will work on that this summer.  We also have begun a bedtime routine of reading books in the rocker.  She reads books all day, so it's not like she's been deprived of reading and I don't know what made me start this again because she's always gone to bed so great.  I think it  was more selfishly for myself.  I wanted a little extra cuddle time before putting her down.  She's goes down so easy.  She even smiles and says "night night, love you."  Well she repeats me saying it, but same thing :) 

Food:  Avery has made great strides in mastering the fork and spoon.  She is becoming lil Miss Independent who wants to feed herself.  Does not like kiwi- who doesn't like kiwi?!? 

Playtime: LOVES baby dolls and anything and everything that goes along with them--bottles, sippy cups, , pacis and strollers.   My baby has a stroller for her babies-crazy right?  

Music- Avery loves dancing to any tune, but she favors and rocks a little harder to the country sounds.  So cute watching her stomp her feet to the sound of a banjo.  She loves listening and dancing to "If You're Happy and You Know It"  She claps, stomps, pats her head, and yells "hurray." 

Learning-  Avery thinks everything is yellow (pronounced "welwoah").  Grammy's been working with her on her colors.  It so cute and her brain is such a sponge.  I bought alphabet flash cards that we are going to begin this summer if not sooner :)

Vocabulary- 1st two word (non repetitive) phrase "hello dada"
