All About Avery & Addison: A GREAT 8 Months

A GREAT 8 Months

May 29, 2012--8 months old!

I forgot to include this in my 7th month post (don't really know how many people actually read this however...)

Weight: 18lbs (BUT this was Aunt Mary weighing her with a diaper- so who knows...)
Height: ? go to doc @ 9 months
Head: ? go to doc @ 9 months
Moods: Happy most of the time. Fussy some with teething. Like most babies she also gets fussy when she's tired or not feeling well. We have been soooo lucky (knocking on wood) to be healthy so far.
Favorite foods:My lil pork chop still LOVES to eat. Her new food this month is pureed bananas and blueberries. She likes it thawed out or frozen into cubes and put into her mesh teething bags. She also is a huge fan of Yo-baby yogurt.
Favorite toys:Of course with teething, Sophie the giraffe is a favorite of all babies. If you don't know about Sophie, you should love her up. She's VERY popular.
Noises: Her new sound can only be describe by "augh." She sounds like she's clearing her throat, but sometimes it's followed by a range of pitches :) Still no words...
Playtime: Rolls EVERYWHERE. It is very rare for her to sit and play in one spot for longer than 5 minutes at a time now. She rolls wherever she wants. She has not crawled yet, but she's working on getting those knees up there. I am not rushing this because I know how our lives will change once she's "mobile." I've put outlet covers in all the outlets within her rolling radius :)
Milestones: Don't know these are really milestones, but... she went to the lake and rode in Pop Pop's boat for the 1st time, went swimming in the ocean, and went swimming in the swimming pool. Also her cousin Laila was born on May 5th and her cousin Grayson was born May 9th!
Teeth: Her bottom two pearly whites are gleaming!!

Sleep: SOOO thankful for a wonderful sleeper. Goes down around 7:45pm and sleeps until 7:00am. Of course she always manages to "sleep in" for Gigi!!! Stinker. She takes a good morning and afternoon nap and often a couple cat naps in between. My goal this summer is to get into a good nap routine. We'll see...
