Happy 3rd Wedding Anniversary to

   We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the lake.  For the past 4 years we've spent Memorial Day weekend at the beach, but since we were there last weekend for the wedding and we'll be traveling back there this weekend we decided to stay home.  PLUS my parent's new dock at Lake Norman was installed last week and it was awesome.  We had two low country boils and 3 wonderful weather days.  It was great speding time with Aunt Toni, Christopher, and Alex who drove in from Maryland for the weekend.

21 Weeks

Nothing too exciting to report this week.   Dr. V said he will have to do another ultrasound next month because she was turned in a way that he was unable to see certain things.  I hope this is not foreshadowing of a stubburn nature.  Haha. He did confirm she was a girl and she was measuring the right size for her due date (still Sept. 26).  As of last week she weighed 12 ounces.

Other news- we moved out of our town home this past weekend thanks to all the man/woman power from Joe's parents, Uncle Jeff, my parents, and Grammy.  We are now living with GG and Pop-Pop.  I think Zoe is a little confused about things, but she'll be happy once she sees her new home with her fenced in back yard all to herself. 

There is still lots to do in preparation for the move and Avery's arrival, but it's a very exciting time in our lives.

I go to the doctor Wednesday @ 12:30.  I will update after that.  Until then-- I will be packing.

19 Weeks

It's still a girl :)

Joe and I went to the hospital again last night and my friend did another ultrasound to double check the sex.  She is still confident it is a girl.  I guess that means we don't have to return anything.  I started my registry this weekend, but I'm sure there is a ton of stuff I've forgotten.  Any new moms out there feel free to check it out and let me know what I am forgetting.  I know I need a monitor, but I need to make my final decision on which one to get.

I'm sure most of you know we went under contract with a new house last week.  We are really excited about it :) We close on our townhome May 25th and move into our new home June 30th (Happy 50th Gina).  We will be living with mom and dad for the short time period in between. 

I go back to the doctor next week (Wed, May 11) for my 20 week anatomy scan.  I can't wait to get more pictures to share with everyone.
